Course Content：
This course is designed to prepare students for the LCCI Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping and Accounting examination. Cantonese will be used as the medium of instruction provided with English learning materials specially written for the exam. Including：(1) Recording business transaction by double entry accounting system; (2) Preparation of control accounts; (3) Reconciliation of control accounts with ledger balances; (4) Correction of errors not affecting the trial balance; (5) Correction of errors affecting the trial balance; (6) Accounting for depreciation; (7) Accounting for irrecoverable debts and allowance for doubtful debts; (8) Accounting for accruals and prepayments; (9) Preparation of Financial Statements for Partnership; (10) Changes in partnership; (11) Dissolution of partnership; (12) Preparation of Financial Statements for Limited companies; (13) Incomplete records of a sole trader and partnership; (14) Manufacturing businesses; (15) Non-profit making organisations; (16) The calculation and interpretation of accounting ratios

Entry Requirement:
1. Holder of “Certificate in LCCI (Level 1) Bookkeeping”, or equivalent; or
2. Complement of Form Four’s BAFS “Introduction to Accounting” (core part)

· Precise Lecture notes will be provided for free
· Past examination papers will be discussed and analyzed in class
· An internal examination is included. Upon successfully passing the examination, students can apply for a certificate with 60 dollars.
· Application for public examination. Being a LCCI Training Centre approved by Pearson LCCI, we are eligible to apply LCCI (Level 2) Bookkeeping and Accounts Examination Examination for students who wish to take the examination.
