Bribery and Corruption Risk Management for Professionals Seminar
Objectives
Anti-bribery and corruption is an important element in Risk Management for professionals. The Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants issued by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) has addressed prevention of bribery and corruption. Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS) has recently published its seven issue of the Ethics, Bribery and Corruption Guidance Note. Anti-corruption is also one of the subject aspects of the Environment, Social and Governance (ESG).
As professional accountants, corporate service providers, business and governance professionals, it is very important to understand the nature of bribery and corruption, the laws and regulations of anti-bribery and corruption, the risks to the companies and the best practices to prevent bribery and corruption. The seminar aims to help participants understand the bribery and corruption risk management and its best practices.
